Finally the phone call we’ve been waiting for. We have passed court and Kalkidan is officially our daughter!!! PRAISE GOD! We were told this was the third time our case went to court. The first time MOWA (Ministry of Women’s Affairs) didn’t show up and the second time the power went out. Both of these are common reasons for a court date to be cancelled. We are so thankful we were not told any of this until now because it saved us from what would have been an even more excruciating long wait!
In about a week we should have a tentative date of when we will be going to Ethiopia to bring our daughter home! It should be between 6-10 weeks from now.
Zeke and Selah are so ecstatic! I woke Selah up this morning and told her we passed court and that Kalkidan is a part of our family now! She said, “Is she here right now?” 
They can’t wait to meet their big sister!!!!
